They say anything worth having is worth working hard for. Sometimes the journey gets tough but those tough times can offer lessons and clarity along the way. This collection proved that. Many lessons came in the form of long nights working on projects only to wake up the next morning to find they had not formed the way I'd planned and having to start from scratch. Becoming frustrated at the clutter I've made from working on multiple projects at once. Never being able to find a simple pair of scissors ( I have like 4 pair, but I can never find them when I need them until I don't). Having high ambitions when I began this collection only to find disappointment in not being able to achieve them all. I even learned that my body has it's limits, and no matter my plans, my body will always remind me not to push it. One of the reasons I love what I do is because of the journey and how it allows me to grow.
This collection was definitely an experience, and I can't wait to share it with you!
With this months collection I was able to push my creativity a little further. We're heading into the Fall season. One of the many symbolic meanings of fall is comfort. As the temperature begins to drop we seek to create comfortable, serene, and cozy spaces. It's one of the best perks of Autumn. Inspired by the season, I wanted to incorporate it's rich color pallet. I wanted to focus on clean, versatile pieces that would easily mix into any homes style but remain flexible with change.
I hope you enjoy this months collection and that you are inspired!
