What a unique find! If you peeked into almost any American residence from the Victorian era through the mid-20th century, you’d find doilies adorning sofas, chairs, and mantels. These lacy linens were often created at home and shaped on stretchers that were produced commercially at least as far back as the 1920s. This doily stretcher is in good vintage condition. There is oblivious ware from being a tool that was used but had aged perfectly to become interesting wall decor. Awesome as an industrial wall accent.
